Nancy Fire Special operations consists of rescue technicians on Nancy VFD.

NVFD handles Extrication, Grain-Bin, Rope, and any other type of rescue in the Nancy Community.

We first acquired our rope cache in 2022 after noticing a need in our community for quick, strong, and effective rope rescue.

Since then we have grown to over 8 rope technicians, and multiple rescue technicians.

In 2025 members decided to create the “NVFD SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION” as a division of just rescue!
